Growing up in Greenock, Joseph has always had a bit of a want for more of life. His father, Daniel, currently a worker in the Lenovo manufacturing plant in Greenock, has always struggled to make ends meet for his wife Ellen and his family, which includes Joseph and his younger sister Delilah. As a result, Life hasn’t always treated the family kindly. When Joseph was in Primary 4, his family moved to the outskirts of Greenock, and as a result, he also had to attend a different school. Luckily, he was able to adapt as an extrovert and make new friends, but he sometimes has trouble developing long-lasting friendships as a result of leaving his previous ones behind. However, he still took in many of the teachings of his father, holding honesty and integrity as his highest scales of worth, with determination being a close second. Joseph’s first interaction with magic happened during the year of the move. A product of the frustration and stress that the family was under at the time, Joseph had to help his father move the boxes from the van into the new flat, and he simply didn’t want to. After struggling and refusing to help, eventually under the yelling of his father, he snapped, and willed the boxes off of the truck, spilling them all over the ground in the process. Luckily for the family, Mr. MacGregor had a cousin who was a wizard, so the family had someone to turn to for the questions that inevitably popped up. Dick Connell quickly became a part of the family’s life, a graduate of Hogwarts, and has given Joseph, as well as his hopeful sister, an insight into the wizarding world. Joseph has red hair, a myriad of freckles on his face, coupled with full lips and hazel-blue eyes. He’s excited to be at Hogwarts, and looks forward to learning all he can about magic.
