Hi my name is Clara Rivers and I am hoping to be sorted in Ravenclaw. I grew up in Limerick, Ireland being half Irish and I went to a muggle school to learn basic math and literacy because my dad is a muggle. My mom being a witch taught me all about the Wizarding world. She taught me how to ride a broom for the first time and told me what to expect at Hogwarts. I grew up visiting my muggle and wizard grandparents a lot. My wizard grandparents shared their stories from going to Hogwarts. When I was seven I accidentally fell into a pool but the water spiraled around me and caught me. My mom called this accidental magic and it meant I was a witch. I was so excited. Sadly right before my eleventh birthday in March my mom pasted from dragon pox. This was a very sad time for our family and it’s been a really rough year for us but I am hoping that Hogwarts will help turn my life around. I love to read and I often read in order to escape the sadness of my mom’s death. I also played muggle soccer growing up and I am very athletic for I played on a travel team. I am hoping to make the quitditch team but if I don’t it will be okay. My mom was in Hufflepuff and was a chaser on her team. I am hoping to become a chaser too. Can’t wait to go to Hogwarts! Also I want to be in the Wizarding government when I grow up.
