Andrea or “Area” was born to a family of pure bloods. As she grew up her parents never pushed her to be the best. It was just common knowledge for her to succeed. They were effortlessly brilliant in their Hogwarts years so they expected it from her.

She inherited her father's brown hair and complexion while the rest of her appearance was from her mother. Though of course she hasn’t grown into her appearance yet. Still in the awkward space between adorable and beautiful.

Her magic first appeared when she was 5 and made bubbles appear out of thin air. Though most displayed more symptoms tended to appear all she ever got was multicolored bubbles. All she can do is hope that it will get better. It did tend to give nightmares that she would be the only one who couldn’t do the magic in Hogwarts.

She didn’t have many friends. People who lived nearby tried of course. Unfortunately for them she grew up semi sheltered. She’d only been allowed outside after a decade. By the time she did go out she far enjoyed to stay inside her head than to engage with other people. It had never occurred to her that perhaps there was a world worth living outside of her own.

As her family prepared for their only child to Hogwarts she snuck out textbooks and old wands from their old years. Unfortunately she had difficulty reading the books and when she attempted it with wands her parents caught her and scolded her about the Trace.
