With her English mother and her French father, Eloise is a multicultural child. She has two old brothers, Oskar and Liam, and a little sister, Mila. Her mother Autumn is a wizard. She works at the Ministry and writes books but she does'nt sell a lot. Her father Ernest is a muggle. He's a teacher so, for him, education is very important. Despite the difference amongst themselves, they stay together and Eloise ask often herself about this couple.
When she is five, she has the diagnosis of autism and ADH. She is'nt hyperactive but she has a lot of difficulties to focus her attention in one thing. At this age too, she makes her first magic experience. She breaks a glass screaming, in an anger crisis.
She doesn't make attention to the glass. Her parents know that she is a wizard but they don't say anything to her. They think that, with her autism, she is already very different from the others.
Eloise grows up like a muggle because Ernest wants his children have a part of the muggle's world and Autumn is a Muggle-born. They think it is a good idea for Eloise's social skills.
She goes to muggle school but it is hard for her to make friends and it is a sensory hell for her.
She discovers magic at the age of eight, when her brother Oskar receives her Hogwarts' letter and she understand a lot of things, like the work of his mother in the Ministry. She has always a little grudge about that. Oskar goes to the house Slytherin.
When she is ten, her brother Liam doesn't receive his letter, because he's a squib. It is hard for him and for the family. Autumn hopes Eloise is'nt a squib because she wants one of her children goes in her house : Gryffindor.
Eloise hasn't any preference about her house, but, when she reads descriptions about houses, she thinks she will go to Hufflepuff ou Ravenclaw because she's honnest, loyal, creative and clever, but very academic and stringent. She doesn't like when things aren't at their place and has routines. She doesn't speak with a lot of people, but when she appreciate someone, she can glue her or him. She can't lie, it's very difficult for her.
She receives her acceptance letter the 15th May, 2019, the day of her birthday. She has eleven years and she is very happy to join her brother in Hogwarts. And she is very excited to take classes at this school !
