Vivi Liquidstranger is the daughter of would-be heiress Ramonica Greenley and the late touring Scottish musician, DJ Martin. She is a sassy blonde with bright blue eyes. It can be said that she's a bit taller than other girls her age.

For the first 7 years of her life, Vivi lived in a one-bedroom flat with her parents. Just before her 7th birthday, her father's plane went down on his way home to his small family, leaving no survivors. The tragedy caught the attention of her grandparents in England, who had previously disowned Ramonica for moving to Scotland and being too much of a wild soul, and they invited the now-single mother and child into their home. Desperate to escape the pain and give her daughter a better life, Ramonica prepared Vivi and they said goodbye to their humble life in Scotland and moved to their new home, a multi-million dollar estate in Windsor.

At first, living in England really made Vivi happy. She made best friends with her cousin, Bailey, who became more like a sister to her. She was getting high marks in the private academy that she began attending. She was even the best participant in her juniors equestrian program. Although all these highs were presenting themselves to her, there was nothing that could have prepared her for the low that was to come. Vivi and her mother were shopping in a market, when a truck came out of no where and wrecked into several vendor stalls. A huge metal display shot through the air towards them. It should have taken Vivi out, as she was just a frail 9 year old at the time, however the steel shelves that weighed hundreds of pounds simply came to a stop and fell at her feet. After they returned home from this event, Ramonica wrote a note to Vivi and her family that stated that she could not handle whatever was going on with Vivi, as her mind was just too fragile to withstand the pressure. She left before the sun rose that morning and was not heard from again.

Vivi's personality shifted from bold, outgoing, and relentlessly positive. She wasn't quite cold or shy, but she was much more reserved than before, and she had somewhat of an attitude about her. She was still very sweet and quite down to earth, but when a nerve was struck, she was a force to be reckoned with. Her temper was extremely volatile, and she was known to snap and anger very quickly. This eventually led to small things happening around her house, such as televisions turning on or off, and bulbs in lamps sometimes exploding. Unbeknownst to Vivi's mother, her grandparents were actually wizards, and she had been a Squib. Ramonica's entire life, she had never shown signs of magical aptitude, and since their home life did not typically involve magical elements, the two wizards had never formally introduced their children to wizardry. They were going to wait until their eldest showed their first sign of magic, then ease them both into the mystical world. Unfortunately, Ramonica's day never arrived, and by the time her younger brother Simon had displayed signs of inheriting their parent's gifts, she had already broken the hearts of her family, been shunned, and moved away. Contact was never re-established to let her know of the matter, and when they invited Vivi and her mother to live with them, the family swore to secrecy, as the pair were intended to return to Muggle society. Having discovered her talents, they were able to open up to her about their true nature and adapt as a family in a way that made Vivi feel like she really belonged there. The feeling of family became comforting to her, and she finally felt she had someone to turn to when she felt overwhelmed. This quickly reduced the amount of dangerous outbursts to the point where there were close to none that ever occurred.

Due to her mother's fragile mental state, Vivi feels everyone believes she's just a kid with abandonment issues, and are just waiting for her to slip into the same bad girl, wild-child pattern that her mother took on before her.
