Sean is an above average height, slender with dark brown hair and greyish brown eyes 11 year old boy from Dublin. He lives a as he would say boring life with his parents Talia and Ed Hearth both Muggles. From a very young age Sean realized that he was different from the other kids. He wasn't interested in running around the playground. He much prefers reading books full of adventures and imagining himself living those adventures. He is shy and has a hard time making friends so he tries not to be noticed too much.

He was 8 when his first "incident" occurred, it started off as a normal Tuesday and it was break time. He had gone to his usual spot on one of the benches outside and continued writing a story he had started to write a week ago. It wasn't anything fancy of course being only 8 he didn't have extraordinary writing skills but he didn't really care if it was good to others. But that day a girl, Shela who was known to be a bit of a bully decided that it was Sean's turn. She had snuck up on him and pulled the diary out of his hands. Sean tried taking it back but she had a group of friends blocking his way. She started reading the story mockingly and kids started to laugh. Sean had never felt this angry before and suddenly a scream. Shela had dropped the book that was now on fire, the fire snuffed out as soon as it dropped on the ground and left only a now charred book. Her friends rushed near her asking her what happened, she had not been hurt but she felt the book get hotter and hotter. Sean felt as if he had blacked out for a few seconds almost wondering if the whole thing was a dream. Then something stranger happened the next day, Sean expected Shela to go after him again because of what happened but nothing. He even went up to her to apologize but she just looked at him in disgust asking him what he was talking about. Was it really a dream ? He didn't talk about the incident to his parents but after that a few small things kept happening when he was put under a lot of stress.

The day he received his letter was the best day of his life, his parents had never seen him this excited. His life wasn't going to be boring after all, he was going to go on adventures. He was a wizard !
