Born from a wealthy pure-bloodline, but separated from the wizarding world and wealth due to his parents' disappearance when he was 3. Lives with his younger brother, Dante, and brought into a modest, muggle household. The certain disconnect from the world of magic left Dakota rather clueless. He cares for his brother more than anything, willing to trade everything he has for his brother's well-being. An ambitious yet, introverted personality. Curiosity, and optimism, the need to learn almost unbarring for him, although he is not very smart. He wants to prove to anyone around him how much he thinks he's worth, a bit narcissistic and a loser, and unable to show his worth due to his shyness. He is supportive and not very competitive. He has dark eyes and dark, shiny hair. An attractive young boy, but covered by his tired appearance. He shows talent in art, getting him in trouble during muggle school for not paying attention. As an introvert, he will take any friends he can get, almost in an act of desperation. When he does befriend someone, he is extremely loyal. This caused him trouble in the muggle world, the wizarding world might be more of a hazard. friends can define who Dakota is, him always almost being told to be independent, from his muggle caretakers to his beloved brother. He loves trying new things in private, from playing instruments to martial arts.
(Dakotas first, full magic gift experience)
Dakota, age 7, and Dante, age 4, delightfully playing on the swing. The swift thrust of Dakota's arms, pushing Dante up in the air, gliding him upwards. Dante laughs, Dakota smiles, he loves when Dante laughs.
Dante: Up, up!
Dakota swings him harder.
Dante: Up!
Dakota complies, applying more force.
A distant voice: Dakota!
His attention adverts to the voice, turning his head to the sound of his name. He is distracted for a short while, seeing his caretaker calling for him. He steps away from his brother and walks to his caretaker.
Dante: Dakota!
He turns, seeing his brother lean back and almost fall. The world stops from him, running to his brother in an effort to stop him from falling onto the painful concrete. He raises his arms outward, simulating the action of catching the younger boy. As Dante was about to fall, the surrounding area halts. The swing in an upward motion and a falling Dante hovering above the concrete.
Dakota runs to Dante and holds him, the swing falling back down, hitting the boys, and the weight of the 4-year-old nearly toppled Dakota. Dante starts to cry. Cynthia, the boy's caretaker, runs to them.
Cynthia: What happened?
She asks, picking up Dante, worried.
Cynthia: Are you okay, Dakota?
She puts a hand on his face, checking for any sign of injury on him.
Dakota: You didn't see that? What has that?
Dakota starts to panic, Cynthia comforts him, but not knowing what he means.
Cynthia: Let's go back inside.
