Sara has silky medium-blonde hair, which she usually wears loosely around her shoulders. Although she does throw her hair up into ponytails or braids when she doesn't want to be bothered with it in her face. Sara's eyes change color from emerald green to a bluish-green, depending on the mood she is in at any given moment. Sara has inherited her mother's light skin and petite build, but she does tan during the summer months.
Sara is quiet and reserved when she meets new people; observing their conversations and body language before entering into a conversation with them. Then they will find that she is fun, easy-going, and has a crazy sense of humor. Sara prefers to have a small group of close friends, rather than be part of a large crowd.
Sara was born on September 10th to a Welsh pure-blood father named Jason Ravenwood, and an English muggle mother named Mary Walker. Her parents meet in front of a cafe' in the village of Betws-y-Coed in North Wales where they literally ran into each other while her mother was on vacation from her nursing position in London, and her father was in the village to pick up supplies for his crew at the nearby Common Welsh Green Dragon Reservation. They were soon married; and settled into a country cottage located between Jason's work on the mountain and the village where they met. Mary accepted a position with the local doctor as his nurse, and not long after gave birth to Sara. Sara's childhood was filled with fresh air and laughter with her muggle friends at play and at school... With occasional visits to her father's work to see the dragons. Her parents spoke openly about her father's magic... So it was no surprise to them when Sara would have sudden bursts of magic. One such incident happened when a young local bully was terrorizing a stray cat by chasing the poor scared animal and throwing rocks at it. Sara rushed to help, throwing out her arms at the boy; and he immediately flew up off the ground backwards into a nearby tree. Thankfully he wasn't seriously hurt, nor did anyone else see what had happened. Not long after the incident Sara's Hogwarts letter arrived; and her parents were thankful that she would be with other magical children where she could learn to develop her magic in a safer environment.
