Avalon Swann is an eleven years old pure-blooded wizard. With bright blonde hair and big blue eyes, she is more than her youthful looks. Avalon is an intelligent child who found her muggle preschool to be boringly easy. As a shy, sweet child who loves to read and write stories, Avalon strives to be the success her parents absentmindedly pressure her to be.
Though raised in England, Avalon was born in America. Wallace Swann is from London and attended Hogwarts. Wallace comes from a long line of Ravenclaws and he was no exception. Once one of Ravenclaw's best Quidditch players, Wallce was drafted to the Appleby Arrows immediately after finishing his education. His career as a chaser was short lived. His mother had some health problems that caused him to move home and get a job closer to home. Since then, Wallace finds himself working for the Ministry of Magic in the Department of Magical Games and Sports. Wallace also met his wife, Lucille, at the Ministry.
Avalon's mother went to school in America. Lucille Swann, formerly Armstrong, was originally from London. The reason the Armstong family moved to America was so that Lucille's mother could continue her research with the Magical Congress of the United States. While in the States, Lucille attended Ilvermorny. Though her family held a great fondness for America, Lucille did not share their love. As soon as she could, Lucille traveled back to London and got a job at the Ministry in the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes.
Avalon is the youngest of the three Swann children. Her older siblings are twins, Willow and Theodore. The twins are eight years older than Avalon and both Ravenclaws. Being so much younger than the twins allowed Avalon to have a mentor-mentee relationship. Willow always read Avalon school books on summer break. Theodore would teach Avalon all about Hogwarts traditions and professors.
Nicknamed Ava, she is a friendly young lass. Most people find that once they get her out of her shell, Avalon is a lively comical spirit. She has many interests and sometimes can get carried off mid conversation. Some can find her to be distracted even though she is highly competent.
Avalon is not good at controlling her emotions. In fact, that is exactly how she discovered her magic. When Avalon would get angry, sad, or overly excited, the people around her would be effected. If she got angry, everyone's hair would stand on end with static electricity. When sad, anyone within ten feet would be graced with their own raincloud to drench them. She's only been so excited that her magic acted up once. She laughed so hard that tears came to her eyes. Her happiness turned the entire room yellow including every person's outfit and hair.
