Alina Fridenot is a little wizard girl who's rarely seen without a smile on her face. She's often found helping others, whether they like it or not, and does so in a cheerful way. She uses her heart and her wit to get through hardships because she hates backing down; Alina was raised a fighter, her strong mind and heart making up for her wee size. It's hard for her to keep still because her head's always bouncing around with ideas and tasks. Despite this Alina really isn't much of a talker, she prefers to listen more but once she gets to know someone she lets her energy rip without a care in the world.

Known to her family as the Midget (because everyone else is big and tall), Alina is a blonde eleven year old with large, pale green eyes. Her hair is dark blonde and long, with curly bangs. She's four foot six and weighs seventy-one pounds. Her cheeks have a natural rosy pink hue and her skin has a peach tone. She's quite tiny and thin but her voice is loud and so is her presence. Her most notable feature is her large ears. Alina's clothes are usually very clean and well-kept. She smells like citrus and lemons most of the time.

Alina was born in Canada, on May 11th, but was raised in Wales. She lives with her parents and grandparents in their home in Wales, where they work in the wand-making business. She has one older brother and a younger brother and sister. Her older brother, Matthew, goes to Hogwarts with her as a third year. Before that he went to public school like Alina and the rest of her siblings. Her family is half German so inturn Alina is fluent in the language. On her mother's side she's French but they're estranged from that side.

When she was four Alina was trying to reach for a toy that fell off her high-chair and it floated back into her hand. It was her first sign of magic.
