Ceris Sarafian is a pureblood witch of Russian and Scottish ethnicity. After spending her first eight years in Russia, her and her family moved back to her birthplace near Isle of Skye. An easy going, yet calculating witch who first exhibited signs of magic by unwittingly vanishing savory foods in favor of dessert, much to the exasperation of her magical parents, Ceris is extremely loyal, blunt and difficult to befriend due to her mostly introverted nature. Due to her extremely strict childhood, Ceris is a big believer in following the rules, the use of forethought before spontaneity, the careful choosing of her scarce group of friends, and respect, especially towards authority figures.
With physical attributes of both Scottish and Russian peoples, Ceris has dark brown-black wavy hair, incredibly pale, milky skin with sparse freckles, strong bone structure with a geart-shaped face, pale green eyes, and a tall figure at the beginning of puberty. While fluent in Russian, her Scottish father necessitated the use of Scottish-accented English with the ongoing use of Scottish gaelic.
Ceris, though very young, is expected to follow a life plan from her first year on to bring further esteem to her family.
Ceris is the youngest of two sisters; her older sister Evayne is a great influence on Ceris. Other family members include two older half-sisters, Zara and Chastity, and one older half-brother, Dane. Her half-siblings remain on friendly, but distant terms.
