A p p e a r a n c e
Libitina has long, frizzy locks of hair, cascading behind her like a field of wheat. The outline of her eyes are almond-like, filled with a bright green. Her great-great-grandpa was the only one to ever have had such eyes in her family. So when the blue in her eyes had faded away, as occurs in most babies, this naturally caused quite a shock to her parents. She has small, crimson-colored lips and freckles dotting her cheeks. She's a bit tall for her age, but not by much.

C h i l d h o o d
On the night of March 22nd, a little witch was born. Her mother and father, magical folk themselves, agreed to name her Libitina. For her middle name, she was given Lark; her mother had been listening to one's melodious singing before going into labor, thus inspiring her to name her daughter after one.
At a young age, she was extremely precocious. She had learned to walk at the age of 5 months, which was abnormal for her age─and a bit dangerous as well. A brave soul, she was well aware of these dangers but did not care to let them stop her. This often led her to trouble.
However, Libitina had very pleasant parents who cared for their daughter deeply. They started buying Libitina books to distract her from causing trouble, and it worked very well. They weren't rich, but rather careful with their money.
Libitina saw each book that was brought to her as some sort of challenge, or a testing of her limits. She would usually go through the book in just a couple of days, starting another right after. So, most of her time, she was buried in the pages of some random book, regardless of it's enthrall towards her.

D i s c o v e r y
When she turned 8, she received a book on her birthday called Hogwarts: A History. Her parents informed her that she would be going to the school spoken about in the book three years from then. This excited Libitina, but confused her as well. She had never performed magic, nor shown any sign of beholding the ability to do so. But just as she began worrying, she noticed a page of the book flipping automatically rather than manually. She raised an eyebrow and looked closer at it, another page flying over and barely missing her cheek.
She analyzed the book in wonder as it continued to turn the pages incongruously. From that day on, she knew she was meant to be at Hogwarts: School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

A c c e p t a n c e L e t t e r
On her birthday, Libitina was notified that she had gotten mail. Her parents stood behind her, smiling, as they watched her open the letter. She carefully pulled out the parchment, not wanting to cause a rip, and read it aloud. It was, as she had been expecting, her acceptance letter to Hogwarts!
She squealed in delight and hurriedly swung on her coat, announcing that they head to Diagon Ally straight away. As she practically danced through the street, she could feel her heart flutter. What awaited her there? She didn't know.
But Libitina isn't one to be fearful.
