Arcadia Ducain is the only child of Aurelius and Estella Ducain. Born and raised in Wiltsire, (known for pre historic sites - such as Stonehenge) Cady -- as she likes to be known, has come from a long lineage of proud, aristocratic, pureblood wizards and witches. The Ducain family are well known among the wizarding communities of Great Britian for being innovators and intellectuals with strong will power and determination.

Having being raised around magic her whole life, Arcadia was always aware of her parents magical abilities - but did not show any true signs of magic herself until she was nine years old, when she accidentally changed a card suit in her hand, in order to win a game of go fish with friends.

Arcadia is not like other girls. Much to her mothers disapproval, she does not wear dresses. She doesnt care about being the prettiest or most adorable girl at Hogwarts, and she most certainly does not smile. 

Bottom line, there isnt much girly or feminine about Cady at all. She is very much a tom boy. She likes to wear boys clothes. Baggy oversized t-shirts that hang around the elbow and shorts that sag down to her knees, often paired with a pair of chunky oversized shoes to match. She is an oddball, an overthinker, and superiorly smart and ambitious for her age, which is a quality she has inherited from her Father -- not to mention tough to boot.

A true rebel at heart, she not one for following rules or authority either - especially in the case of adventure. If she wants to do something, she is doing it - no matter the consequences.
