Jasline Orme is a young witch from England. She was born on the nineteenth of December in Switzerland to Issac and Kendra Orme. Her parents are both muggles, her father a pediatrician and her mother a professor of biology. She has a younger brother named Tylar who's seven and hasn't yet shown signs of magic. Together they live in their small home in Lostwithiel, England. Jasline is very close to her family, especially her grandmother, who spends the most time with her and supports all of her dreams.

Jasline goes to school at an institution for children gifted in the creative arts. Between the ages of five and seven she went there for day school but once she turned eight she went away for boarding school to grow her artisitic abilities. When she was nine years Jasline discovered her magic during her art class. Her grandfather has recently passed away and she was in mourning. She was supposed to be painting but she fell asleep, and while she dreamt the paint on the canvas began to swirl. When Jasline woke up she was surprised to see how she had "painted" abstract replications of her dreams on the canvas.

Her parents discovered that she was magic after her mother witnessed a similar event. Jasline had recently gotten into trouble at school for a fist fight and she locked in her room during her suspension. Her mother came into to give her lunch and was astonished to see a pencil scribbling on paper by an invisible hand while her daughter slept. The pictures were of her nightmares and dreams, and there were hundreds of the pictures flung all around her room. Her frightened mother hid them away in the attic and never told her daughter until she got her letter from Hogwarts.

Jasline is a wild creature. Sometimes she can be soft and gentle while other times she's vicious and ready to fight. She's very protective of things that she cares about, whether it be family, friends, possessions, or ideas. Jasline doesn't like to back down and uses her cunning mind to get things she wants, which is why she often got into trouble at school. She gets most of her personality from her grandmother, who was a ferocious riot back in her days, but her more empathetic side is from her parents, both who're natural altruists, living for the betterment of humankind. This is why under the thick skin there's a thick layer of tenderness where Jasline sees the good in people, even when she doesn't want to.

Like her family, Jasline is brown-skinned, though her eyes are violet instead of brown like the rest of them. Her hair is dark brown and comes down to her waist when it's not in a ponytail. She's eleven years old and looks like one, with a small frame and a youthful face. She's just under five feet tall and weighs seventy-two pounds. Jasline has a slender build and that she maneuvers with a certain deftness and sureness. Her voice is smooth like liquid and her eyes are sharp.
