appearance
Lusia is more of a shadow than a girl. It's easy for her to blend in with the crowd because of her short, dark hair and normally dark attire. Pale white skin crosses over her hollowed cheeks and glowering brow, her complexion contrasting starkly against her hair. Her eyes are a dull brown like oak wood in the fog, but they're sharp as knives. Sometimes Lusia's mistaken for a boy because of her gangly figure and the way she presents herself. She has broad shoulders and an angular face, her voice low and clear; Lusia is okay with being thought of as a masculine, because she's a tomboy, but she isn't afraid to correct others. Underneath the many layers of clothing one would find remnants of an eleven year old child who can barely fit her own robes and uniform. Her limbs are boney and long but Lusia is defter than she appears.
Lusia wears a fake eye patch over her left eye. It's a statement to her father regarding his arrogance and how it blinds him from reality. It's worn, made of black snakeskin, and was a gift from her great-grandfather.
personality
Since she was a young child Lusia had notable intellect. It usually went unnoticed because of her lack of interaction, but Lusia always had this presence of knowing more than she let's on. Her parents pressured her in her studies and she found that she was gifted in the sciences and mathematics. Lusia never trys to boast her skills or make anyone feel lesser than they are, unless they treat her this way; she's big on justice and feels like everyone deserves what they put out. Most of her efforts are done in order to meet the expectations of her father, which is a near impossible task, but she still tries because she has a never-ending love for him.
Most people saw her as a reserved young lady growing up, one who focused on her tasks and wanted little to do with entertainment, but that wasn't so. Lusia feared her father's reprehension, which is why she did anything fun in secret. She was rewarded by her father calling her the only "serious" and "diligent" child in the family. As Lusia entered her preteen years she became more carefree and embraced interests she once had, like her gifts in music and art, the abstract things her father disliked before. Now he calls her "rebellious", averting his attention to her older sister, but Lusia aims to do what pleases her now, with the tormenting shadow of her father's judgement hanging over her shoulder. One of her acts of defiance is by wearing a fake eye patch; it's a statement to her father to say that he's blinded by his arrogance but he thinks that's she's just being an insolent child.

history
Lusia was born in the dead of night on the thirtieth of June in Peasmarsh, England to Yurish and Catalina Blest. Her father is a Russian man who's an official in the Ministry and her mother is a Spanish woman with an affinity for potions, both of them graduates of Slytherin. Lusia attended private schooling with other magical children growing up but she did cross paths with muggles when her family would travel. She has two siblings, a younger brother named Andrei and an older sister named Rosario. Growing up with them was fine, even though they have their spats every now and then. All of them just want to please their father, a hardy man who's never satisfied with anything anyone ever has to offer.
Her entire life is surrounded by magic, despite the modern world Lusia lives in. Her parents aren't too fond of muggles so she never had that much experience with them. Still, that hasn't stop her from being curious of the non-magical's ways. Her first experience with muggles also happened when her magic first surfaced. Lusia was waiting for her father outside of a private lounge in the Leaky Cauldron when she saw muggle children playing outside the store. Intrigued, Lusia wandered outside to join them in a game of dodgeball, which she had never played before. They tried to teach her but when the ball came flying, Lusia threw up her arms to protect herself. The ball turned abruptly when it was inches away and went straight through a car's windows. Let's just say that Lusia stopped playing roughly for a long time.
When Lusia received her letter from Hogwarts she felt so proud, even though her father informed her that she still had seven years before she could be called an 'accomplished' witch. Lusia was just ready to start learning more about magic and how to use it so she can achieve her future goal to b a renown and prestigious witch.
