Sunya is a young, tallish, light skinned girl with very bog and coily hair, and loves it when her mother tries different styles with it. Both of her parents are immigrants from Somalia and is American born. She had always been eager to learn and explore. She wanted adventure in her life, however her parents thought otherwise. They never have been fond of the idea of traveling ever since they moved to Great Britain when she was 7 and adventure, since they think it'll lead to danger and don't want Sunya to be harmed. One day, she was picking up a book laying on her parents basement floor and it vanished in her hands. She learned later on that same book had reappeared on top of her father's head in the living room. Although she wanted to learn more about it, her parents decided to not speak upon it and kept it that way for a few years. When she had received the letter from Hogwarts, her parents were horrified at the news but had known it was time to tell her the truth. Her family has always been full of wizards and witches. Excited yet shocked, Sunya told them she had to go to discover her full potential. Hesitant at first, they knew they couldn't budge and decided she can attend as long as she sends them a letter every week there.
