Ayala Bolinger is a calm, yet determined young soul destined to fulfill her goals—and will do anything to achieve them. She is fearless and sticks by her own beliefs, regardless if anyone disagrees. Polite and known for her courtesy, when it's due, Ayala will show respect in the given situation but isn't afraid to 'make things happen' if said things aren't moving accordingly. Ayala is a fighter for justice and freedom, but at the end of the day her loyalties tie to her ownself and perhaps to those she truly cares for. It's best not to get on her bad side, because her vengeance is harsh and cruel, backed by cunningness and deep resentment for anything that brings her mental or physical harm.

Ayala was born with tawny brown skin and rich, deep brown eyes. Her hair is very long and curly, usually hard to manage so she braids them into two thick ponytails. She's very skinny, lanky and weighs very little, like a fragile, newborn bird. Except Ayala acts the very opposite of one. Her stride is always sure and powerful, with her chin high and back taut. She keeps herself as neat and presentable as possible, because she knows that in order to be truly respected she needs to dress for success. She grew a lot over the summer which explains why most her clothes are too small for her. Ayala has a fun side to her, because she's a kid after all; she wears colorful barrettes and clips over hair, more for self-expression than to tame her stubborn hair.

Years ago on the seventh of January, Ayala and her twin sister, Michaela, were born in Liverpool, England. For cruel reasons, her parents, specifically her mother, abandoned them both at the doorstep of an elderly woman's home. The lady could not care for them, because she feared that her day was coming, so they were sent to live in a prestige orphanage for the troubled. Ayala and her twin were raised there, but instead of luck things only worsened. Her twin sister was born blind and suffered from many ailments, such as eczema, schizophrenia, ADHD, and many other things that their guardians seemed hardly to have time for.

The other children, and sometimes even the staff, bullied her twin sister because of her disabilities. Michaela was shy and rarely stook up for herself so Ayala would take a stand and punish anyone who messed with her or her sister. That ended up making them both looked at as 'strange' and overtime people came to just ignore them. Ayala resented this but promised to never abandon her sister like they had both been at birth.

But things changed close to their eighth birthday. One morning Ayala was going to use that bathroom and saw two girls in there—holding her journal. They were struggling to open the window and Ayala could hear the cat calls of the boys down below, so she knew exactly what was going on. She lunged, just at they pried it open—but just as quickly the entire window slammed shut on the girls' fingers. It could've been sheer luck, but Ayala had felt a strange surge through her body that day, and it was the last time it happened.

Exactly seven months after their eight birthday, a strange visitor came to the orphanage. He claimed that he wws looking to adopt the children. While the other orphans fretted around excitedly, Ayala was full of suspicion, especially because he took a keen interest in her twin sister. Towards the end of the night, while she cleaning the dishes, she heard scruffling in the dining room and found the man trying to get a hold of her sister. He was screaming insanities that she could barely comprehend but all Ayala knew what he was trying to harm her sister. The staff tried to hold him back but suddenly he pulled out a wand and pointed it at her sister—a bright green light and next thing she knew her sister was dead on the floor. Ayala was in shock for several days, even after the ministry had come from nowhere to obliviate the muggles and explained what had gone on. Afterwards she was never the same, much more quiet and standoffish, but something always seems to be brooding deep down inside her.
