On the chilly morning of the eighteenth of November, Rhiannon was born to Victor and Lanette Starr. Rhiannon's father Victor was a pure blooded wizard from a very prominent family. They believed in keeping their blood line pure. Once his family learned of Victor's secret marriage to a muggle woman, all ties were cut. He was estranged from his family, but he wouldn't have it any other way.  Lanette was the love of his life, his world. When they married, he moved to the United states because of his wife's poor health. She had family in both countries, but was closer to those in the US. Beside, she could withstand the warmer weather in the Southern parts her family was located in. Lanette was born a sickly child, and yet, she never let it get her down. She was strong and strives to instill the same strength in her own daughter.

Rhiannon was brought up in a loving family, and she blossomed for it. At the age of six, like all other children her age, the young girl started kindergarten. Things seemed to be going well. Even though she was shy, Rhiannon made friends and played just like the other children. Then one day, word got out that her father was different, he practiced magic... The area they lived in did not understand the magical arts and was afraid of it. Sadly, Rhiannon was severely bullied by the other children, even her so called friends. Slowly she became quieter and quieter. Afraid of worrying her parents, the young girl kept the bullying to herself. As the winter months crept up Lanette, Rhiannon's mother grew ill. What was thought to be a mere cold, slipped into her lungs, weakening her. Recuperation became impossible. She slipped away in the night, leaving her husband and daughter in agony. Already through enough, and now brokenhearted, Rhiannon stopped talking, even to her father.

Victor knew something had to be done. His daughter needed a change of scenery, and Victor couldn't stay in the home that brought back so many memories. The two moved into a house in a small farming village in the South of Kent. The cozy home was owned by, and near Lanette's family. They knew the two were in a predicament and needed all the help they could get. Victor was patient, but his daughter still was unable to speak. He took her to all the best doctors in Britain. They diagnosed Rhiannon with Psychogenic Mutisim, and treated her through therapy. It took time, but slowly Rhiannon began coming out of her shell. One night she reached out to her father in a way he hadn't expected. The girl walked up to Vincent holding her white teddy bear with a lavender ribbon around it's neck. Ever so softly the familiar soft lilting voice of the little girl called to her father. It wasn't from Rhiannon herself, but from the teddy bear. With such a small act of magic, Victor was ecstatic. His magic abilities had carried over to his daughter! They had something in common, and he was thankful. He knew that his little girl had so much more in store for her in the future. Two days later on the night of her eleventh birthday, Rhiannon received her owl, her invitation to Hogwarts, school of witchcraft and wizardry.

About Rhiannon:
Quite small for her age, Rhiannon stands at 54 inches, and quite slender as well. Her skin is a pale milky white with a pearlescent pink hue that dusts her cheeks and lips. Her rounded cheeks taper off into a softly pointed chin, giving the young girl a heart shaped face. Her blue eyes are slanted and tilt down slightly at the ends. Looking down, her small nose turns down lightly. Wisps of wavy platinum blonde hair frame her face, and stops just below her shoulders.

Even though she's quiet, Rhiannon is an inquisitive and creative young girl. She is always listening, soaking up as much knowledge as she positively can like a little sponge. Even though she cannot speak physically yet, she uses the little white teddy bear to communicate. Even though she seems to keep to herself, Rhiannon still finds moments to let her voice be heard, either by greetings or through small bits of advice. Taught well by her mother and father, Rhiannon is polite and always well mannered. She marvels at the natural world around her, although the night sky is her favorite. Rhiannon loves to learn and hear stories from the older witches and wizards around her. Even though she has her nose stuck in books, or is occupying her time with painting or sketching, Rhiannon still thirsts for companionship. No one every found it easy to go through life without someone to talk to or confide in. Rhiannon would be a fierce and loyal friend. Kind and careful, she always looks to be be the voice of reason. That being said she would always be that shoulder for her friends to cry on. She knows they would do the same...
