Kahlan Brielle Amnel was born July 8, 2008 in Virginia, United States of America. Her mother Calista was originally born in London, and her father Thomas was born in the US. Calista and Thomas met while her father was on a trip to London and they fell madly in love. They were soon married, and Calista followed him back to the States where they eventually had Kahlan.
Calista was a stay at home mother while Thomas worked under cover as an Auror for the Magical Congress of The United States of America. When Kahlan was only 3 Thomas was killed. And around this time is when Kahlan started to show her magical abilities. She started to levitate objects to her room while sleeping, and when throwing tantrums like 3 year olds do, she would start to float herself! So 6 months after her fathers death, her mother Calista moved her and her daughter back to her home in London.
Kahlan eventually grew into a beautiful young girl. As much inside as she was out. She is mature for her young age of 11 years, but can still be carefree. She loves to have adventures, make new friends, remain loyal to her existing ones, and will stand up for them and what she believes in no matter what. Kahlan isn't quick to judge or to hold grudges. And some times she can talk way too much!
