{BACKGROUND}
Kim Jongin was born to Korean-English immigrants, both muggles. Jongin's magical abilities were realized at the age of nine while at the park with his mother. Another child had been picking on him, and in a fit of anger, Jongin sent the child flying across the park, giving him a broken arm without laying a finger on him. The incident caused the Ministry of Magic to get involved, leading to the Kim family's relocation to England and Jongin's eventual acceptance to Hogwarts.

At the young age of ten, Jongin's life was again flipped upside down, as he was diagnosed with Disassociative Personality Disorder. Jongin's "other personality" goes by Kai, and is the polar opposite of Jongin. Where Jongin is ridiculously lovable, shy, and kind, Kai is bold, dark, and painfully manipulative. Whenever Jongin needs a push, Kai pushes. A majority of the time, thankfully, Jongin is in control.

Despite his magical abilities, Jongin is very much interested in muggle activities. His passion is dance; he is extremely adept in ballet and modern dancing, as well as choreography. He loves cameras and photography, and has been modelling since a young age.
