Cornelius Waterhouse-Father
Cornelius Waterhouse was a wealthy businessman, who was secretly a pure-blooded wizard. His wealthy parents were radically anti-muggle, though he did not share their beliefs, which caused him to distance himself from his wizard heritage. After graduating from Hogwarts, He withdrew all the money in his Gringotts account, converted it to muggle currency, then moved to the muggle world, and started a business. In the muggle world, Life proved to be difficult for Cornelius because he had no knowledge of muggle life beyond studying it in books, leading to incidents which caused many to think strangely of him. However, his quick wit and intelligence helped him hide his secret and grow his business in popularity. Within one year, It was among the most popular businesses in the muggle world. Life was not all work for Cornelius though. While dining, He met a waitress named Ardra Langman. They hit it off and began a relationship, which blossomed quickly, much to the chagrin of Cornelius family. They viewed his relationship with a muggle as a complete besmirchment of the Waterhouse family name, so they shunned him. Cornelius was not bothered by what his family thought and proposed to Ardra, after telling her the truth about himself. She was accepted the existence of a wizard world immediately, without questioning him. They were married and soon found out that Ardra was pregnant. 9 months later the child, whom they named Cordelia, was born. Soon, Cornelius hired someone to take care of his business so that he could focus on spending time with his daughter, who grew in leaps and bounds. They became the embodiment of a happy family. Unfortunately, the growth of this happiness was cut short. The person Cornelius hired to look after his business had been secretly defrauding him, which caused profit loss and debt. The business went under and no matter how hard he tried, He could not salvage it. He declared bankruptcy and the family became penniless, but because of their horrible experience the family grew closer than ever before. Although they were living small paycheck to paycheck, They were still the happy family they had always been, just with less money and more woes. This happiness was cut short once again when an unthinkable tragedy happened. Cornelius died mysteriously one day, leaving behind a wife, his daughter Cordelia, and an adopted son named Dorian.
