Riverrun family is a very distant living member of the English wizard society. The family has its island in Kirkwall and special detached houses inside it for every subfamily inside of the family. On the island, every member of the family has the same surnames. Because of efforts for protecting the pure-blood of family, there was code(endogamy) that forcing family members to inter-family marriages.
Her mother Hannah, fell in love with another wizard. And made extramarital child against the family's moral codes. Sophie is that child. After her mother was broken up with his father she married Joe, who never wanted Sophie in his home and her maternal uncle Philip adopted her.
Philip is a Curse-Breaker who working for the Ministry of Magic as the most members of his family. He was a very talented student at Hogwarts years and after successful graduation, he started his best-talented career and construct his later life with his adopted child Sophie. He is always kind to Sophie and wanting her to be well educated and happy child.
Despite she is an adopted child she never felt any lack of real family because of her Uncle's love.
In the Riverrun family, the child normally must get duelling educations before Hogwarts with standard primary school education. But Sophie never wanted to learn anything about duels. She is very pacifist and wanting to get a job when becoming an adult that making people happy.
She is a very emotional girl with a clever brain and social. Probably brave too, but have no desire for violence.
When she was nine years old it was the first time that she faced with her own magic. It was Philip's birthday and she hasn't had anything to give his uncle as a birthday gift. Then, she tried to gather some flowers but on their island was too cold and flowers in there were not looking good as a birthday gift. After she looking that flowers inside her hands so sad for minutes they turned into too many colourful other types of flowers magically. This was not great magic for beginning but a useful one.
She is hoping from Hogwarts to teach her many things. Her uncle's hope from Hogwarts is keeping her safe and happy. Her family's hope from Hogwarts is teaching her defending herself and bad faces of life and it's threats that should be avoided.
