Personality: Alex has always been a quite and withdrawn boy who had very little interest in social interactions or dealing with other people, even family. His focus and interest are purely on discovering what he is capable and the mysteries hidden within the wizarding world
Looks: his is tall for his age and pale, with naturally black hair and deep brown eyes. He dresses in dark clothing and wears glasses while keeping his medium length hair typically slicked back.
Bio: Alex was born to A wizard and a muggle family, his mother was the muggle and his father the wizard. His mother was a school teacher who did her best to connect with and engage Alex with little success which led to a strained relationship that more often than not left his mother upset. His father was a wizard who was focused on his work as an Auror and spent much of his time away from the family hunting or tracking down threats to the wizarding community.
One day while alone with Alex, his mother was trying to get him to socialize and engage but he refused with his usual bored expression and silence. His mother grew increasingly upset and pushed Alex more and more in an attempt to get some kind of reaction out of him and in a rare moment of emotion he yelled at her things in the room were knocked over and the light in the room shattered leaving the two of them in darkness.
After this point his mother became scared of him and stopped trying to engage and get Alex to open up, something Alex noticed and a part of him enjoyed. Taking this knowledge that he had a power within him if he could learn more of it and harness it and grow stronger he could ensure nobody would bother him and he could do what he wanted in peace.
His father was excited about his son presenting magically and began to do what he could to prep Alex for being enrolled in school, partly so his family line of wizards could continue but also with the hopes that in the school he would learn how to properly learn to use his magic and that the teachers and other students could help him open up and steer him towards a better path than both parents were worried he was going down.
