Backstory
When Cato was a baby, his father took him to a Irish Catholic priest, Father Ferguson, believing that his mother wasn't fit to be a parent. Father Ferguson took him in and raised Cato, however, despite being given a thorough explanation of the circumstances of Cato's abandonment, the priest refused to provide Cato with many details about his parents.
Cato attended Dun Dealgan Primary School between ages four and seven. Whilst there, he had two friends, Hilly Crichton and Daniel Linton, however Father Ferguson removed him from primary school after an incident involving a classmate and a whiteboard.
The Classmate, AJ Russell, claimed that Cato had hit him repeatedly with a whiteboard, however Cato was adamant that the whiteboard had a mind of its own, repeatedly throwing itself at AJ, although he admitted to wanting to hit AJ with the whiteboard.
Whilst the school only wanted to sanction Cato by giving him a week of indoor breaktime, instead, upon hearing this in a meeting with AJ's parents, Father Ferguson decided to take Cato out of school and homeschool him.
Whilst this worked for a while, as he grew older Cato began to wonder more about his parents, and at the age of ten, demanded that Father Ferguson tell him everything he was told. At first the priest refused and tensions rose between the two, until a furious Cato went to pick up a copy of the bible and throw it at Father Ferguson, only to find that the bible had already hurled itself at him.
Solmenly, he agreed to tell Cato about his parents, informing him that his father claimed to be a wizard, yet he had not believed him until the day when Cato claimed that a whiteboard had hurled itself at his classmate.
Personality
Cato is a curious young boy. He is interested in fashion, and hates swimming because it messes up his hair.
Appearance
Cato has dark skin and black hair, which he generally wears in a ponytail, yet for formal occasions he enjoys styling his hair. He owns a pair of colour blindness correcting glasses as he is red-green colourblind, however he rarely wears them as he feels they mess up his style.
