BIO:

A foster child from Bristol, Clarisse never felt like she belonged.

Her mother was a French prostitute in Paris named Lulu while her father was one of her many customers. When Lulu found out she was pregnant she moved to London and in an attempt to put her life back on track for the sake of her unborn child, she made do with jobs such as waitressing, house keeping, and nannying until the eventual birth of her daughter on October 20th of that same year.

Things started out alright as Lulu did her best to provide for both herself and the infant, but even before the birth the young girl found it hard to pay for rent and food. Now with an extra mouth to feed she felt overwhelmed and turned back to prostitution in a way to make extra money as well as abusing alcohol in a way to cope with the stress of everyday life.

It took a few months after Clarisse’s first birthday for CPS to step in and take Clarisse away from Lulu. This began the child’s journey through the foster care system.

The first few years flew by like a blur as she sailed through the toddler and early childhood years quickly with little to no trouble until a few months into her ninth year of life where strange events seemed to occur wherever the girl seemed to be. Shattering glasses at breakfast, spontaneous gusts of wind or the soles of shoes turning to jelly. This caused her foster family to blame these occurrences on her, thinking that it was due to bad behavior, but each foster family to the next the occurrences didn’t stop. Children at school would tease her for being in the foster system. Throughout it all Clarisse kept a positive outlook. Things had to look up eventually, and they soon did when she got her Hogwarts letter.

Clarisse plans on making the best of her time at Hogwarts. Now that she knows there are kids just like her, making friends shouldn’t be that hard right?
