APPEARANCE
There are two things one immediately notices about Wren, and therefore two things that describe her best: bright-eyed and taller than a good number of her peers. Her dark, chestnut brown hair is usually kept neat in braids or buns, and her wardrobe mostly consists of light blues and bright reds.

BIOGRAPHY
Wren was born in the busy city of Seoul as Minji Yoon on the 29th of January, 2008. Adopted at the tender age of two by Cian and Elspeth Fitzgerald, a young English couple, she has no memory of her biological parents nor her birthplace.

She was raised in the cozy town of Wickham with three siblings: Lorcan, who was three years older and her (adoptive) parents' biological son; Aurora, who was the same age as her and adopted from South America; and Sebastian, who was four years younger than her and adopted from London. Most strangers wondered about her mismatched family, not knowing that after giving birth to their first child, Cian and Elspeth were unable to have more, so they chose to adopt.

Wren's upbringing was fairly quiet, or as quiet as it gets when you have a child like Wren — constantly running around and sticking her nose into places she maybe shouldn't be sticking her nose into. (So, not quiet at all.) Curiosity killed the cat would be a good way to describe Wren if she weren't so good at worming her way out of trouble.

Her magic came in the form of cuts and scrapes healed overnight. It took her a while to realise, seeing as she usually had paper cuts on her hands and scraped knees from falling off her bicycle one too many times. It was always small, almost unnoticeable things like keeping her mum's plants alive (the poor woman was terrible at gardening) and mending a scratch on their neighbour's window pane (the ball she had thrown went a little off-course but luckily didn't scratch the glass at all... or so she thought).

And on one fateful day, all the pieces clicked when she finally received her Hogwarts letter.

PERSONALITY
+ open-minded, curious, independent
– impulsive, distracted, stubborn

The combination of Wren's curiosity and impulsiveness often leads her to strange places, both literally and figuratively, so it's a miracle that, somehow, she almost always manages to evade trouble. It might be her sweet smile and innocent eyes or her hard-headedness that sometimes convinces adults to let her off easily, or maybe she's just a little spoiled.

If she isn't running around on her own, her head is probably in the clouds, thinking of where she should go next and what she should do.
