I was born on April 21, 2008. Books have always been my favorite escape, but I'm not opposed to movies. My parents' names are Alexa and Thomas Write. I was born in New York City and moved to Reading, London when I was eight.

I enjoyed sports such as soccer, but I was never any good at playing the sport, itself. I prefer board games and card games to physical activities. In school, I enjoyed learning languages and history. I also liked English; it's a good place to get book recommendations.

As a child, I always managed to get myself in odd situations. Once, when I was six, I was playing with my friend, Audrey, on the school playground. We were playing tag and Audrey was it. We made our way up to the slide, I got a bit . . . over enthusiastic. I fell off the side of the slide and to the ground. Only, before I hit the ground, I hovered an inch or two. I didn't rise back up or fall down. I just hovered. I told my mom that night. She accused me of lying. Other similar things happened, and almost every time I told my mom or dad. By the time I was ten, they didn't trust anything I said.

When I got my letter to Hogwarts, my parents accused me of forgery and grounded me until my muggle school started back. I used the owl whom had delivered my letter to contact the school and inform them of the situation. Not even a week later, someone claiming to be the assistant headmaster of Hogwarts came to our flat and explained the whole ordeal to my parents.

After that things went . . . smoother. My parents actually apologized for not believing me. Then again, who could blame them for not believing? It was a pretty crazy thing to try and wrap your head around.
