Hi! My name is Eliza Thornwood and I very recently turned 11 years old. I was born and have grown up in Brighton for all of my life. I lost my mom when I was very young in a car crash, and currently live with my dad, Tim, his new wife, and our two dogs Xander and Molly. My mom was the witch in the family and my dad is a muggle, but him and his wife try to be as understanding as they can about who I am. My favorite color is yellow and my favorite pass time is spending time on the beach with my dogs. I am a very open and understanding person. I get that everyone is fighting their own battles so I try to stay as open as I can to those who need me. I know how to crack a joke or two, but sometimes I can get very serious when I'm dealing with something I care about. I have extremely long brown hair that you can usually find wrapped up in a ponytail or tucked behind my ears. My dad always tells me that looking into my eyes is like looking into the ocean and he loves to tell me everyday that I have a million more freckles than I did yesterday. My dad is a banker and is usually very busy. I don't see him much other than during the nighttime when we are all having dinner. His wife, Margaret, is super caring and loves to take me around town when she's free. She has more time than my dad as she is a real estate agent. I still remember the day that I found out I was a witch like it wasn't a year and a half ago. I was wandering around the beach on some rocks and found a bird wrapped up in some plastic being swept up under the current. I was so distressed and was contemplating what to do when the plastic vanished into thin air. My dad then explained everything to me and my life was changed forever.
