My name is Alice Catherine Dollanganger, I'm eleven years old and from Scotland. I enjoy mountains and rivers, gardening and animals. I love deer and lambs, I dream about mermaids and pixies. I'm very shy, reserved, and quiet, but I try my best to make friends wherever I go, and to spread joy whenever I can. I have to admit I do tend to be a bit hot headed, short tempered, whatever you may call it, but I'm working on that. I have my own vegetable garden back at home that I'm going to miss so dearly.
As for appearance, I have quite fair olive toned skin and wavy, golden blonde hair that reaches the middle of my back. It's often braided into two or pulled back from my face. I'm almost average height, a bit on the shorter and scrawny side. I have a heart shaped face with rosy cheeks and green-blue eyes.
I was born to Beau and Isla Dollanganger. My dad is a wizard and my mother a muggle. We all had a very close relationship, and I'm going to miss them terribly while I'm away. My dad is a dragon keeper, which always has fascinated me, and my mother is a writer. My dad was away for work a lot of the time growing up, but we still remained close, it just meant I spent more time with my mom when I wanted to learn about magic. She taught me how to ride a bike and garden, and my dad taught me how to ride a broom and care for dragon eggs. I have no siblings but growing up with magic on my dads side of the family was always useful, as they were always more exposed to magic than I was. I've been counting down the days until Id get my letter and I'm so grateful to finally have it.
