She's around average when it comes to sports.
Her family consist of her wizard father, muggle born mom and some intriguing aunts, uncles and their children on her moms side. Her dad's side of the family isn't speaking much to them anymore, because her dad chose to drop the traditions completely and took his wifes name. Her dad doesn't talk much about his family in the wizard world, when he's talked about it with her.

Her childhood was fairly normal she had some friends that she loved playing with and she had her regular play dates with her cousins, Her magic surfaced at age 7, when she was "pranked" by one of her muggle cousins. They tried to cut off one of her braids during one of their play dates, the scissor broke the instant it touched her hair. Her father just said it was used too much and had done it's job.

Her favorite uncle is a poet, and he's a muggle. She's spent some time at his house, reading few of his own creations. As a child she loved to play on the toy guitar she got on her fifth birthday, she still has it even though it's become worn down.

She's sat down and discussed magic with her dad many times and learned in a remote location away from muggles how to use a broom, which she only got to learn after begging her dad to teach her for weeks. The only reason that she had to beg is because her father has a "no magic in the house" rule. That even he follows it fairly often. With some exceptions being during receiving mail and the daily prophet or in an emergency.

She's also heard that she'll learn more spells in the years to come, and been told that she must keep it a secret from her muggle friends at her local school, where she was an average student. She wasn't a model student either, not with those friends of hers, always up for some kind of action. She just wants to go through one day without trying to save her friends ass from other kids they've taunted.

They're a group of four, two of them is in a grade over them and almost inseparable, but she's afraid that'll change fast once she begins her first year at Hogwarts.

She has a good head on her shoulders and hopes to learn a lot in the following years.
