Cade was born in a fairly sucessful wizarding family, consisting of a father, mother, and brother twelve years his senior. He showed great promise early, just like his brother before him, and his parents constantly praised him for. His brother, Victor, however, was jealous of the amount of attention young Cade got, which lead to bullying. Between the two, he ended up being someone who looks like they have it all together, but is secretly increadibly insecure. An intense desire for validation, being told that he actually is as great as people say, drives his actions and his worst fear is being exposed as the fraud he thinks he is.

The first sign that Cade was magical happened when he was five, when a spoon he had been eating with started drifting in the air. Since then, he has prepared himself to enter the wizarding world- less so through studying and more by perfecting his act as, well, a perfect child. Being polite to adults and offering help to peers. Pretending to like everyone, even while thinking mean things behind their back. He is naturally bright and picks things up quickly, however he struggles with anything he doesn't get right away.

He is unsure what house he will be in. His father was in Ravenclaw while his mother and brother were Gryffindor. Ideally, he would be placed in Gryffindor as well, but has come to secretly resent the idea, based on how his brother had treated him.
