Hi, I'm Lisa Loxley! I'm eleven years old and live in Cheddar, England. Yeah, weird name, but I love my town, all of my friends are here!
I was born on April 29th, 2007. I used to have both of my parents, but my dad left shortly before I was born and my mom died giving birth to me. I live with my grandmother, my older sister Brenda, and my cousin Nielson, we're all really creative and have big dreams.
My grandmother, Carol Courteau, grew up trying a lot of things, from acting, singing, journalism, dance, painting, farming, and even being a Mediwizard and a soldier! She was very eccentric—she has a never-ending bucket list—and grew up teaching me and other people I know to pursue their dreams and make our lives mean something, and I want to be just like her!
I like to think that I'm nice, helpful, and caring, but some people say that I can be a little too aggressive. I admit that when I feel disagreeable or competitive I go hard with nearly everything I have because I like defending things I believe in, it just makes me feel good. I'm not afraid to do things that other people are afraid to do either, like to stick up for myself and be daring. I use to be, but I feel like you will never know how great things could be if you never try!
I have tons of hobbies, the list would near infinity if I even told you a few. Even though I'm not good at most of them, like playing the flute, riding horseback, or playing basketball, I like to keep trying, it helps with all of the energy inside me. Sometimes my sister calls me Sparky because I'm full of electricity (some weird muggle word, I guess)!
A lot of people say I look a lot like my mum. We both have long, thick, blond hair and amber eyes. My mum was short but my dad was tall, which is why I'm nearly five feet tall at only eleven(I'm 4'10" and weigh 74 lbs). I do have some of my dad's features though. Although his were blue, we both have the same large doe eyes, the ones that looks so ‘innocent and clueless’. People say that a lot about me when they don't know me. I have creme toned skin, but usually during the every season except winter it's tanner. My ears aren't pierced (when I turn thirteen I'm getting them double-pierced!) and they're a little pointed at the end, like an elf's.
I love, love, love flowers, especially dahlias, and I wear them on my clothing, in patterns or as decorations! I like to wear skirts, dresses, bucket hats, vintage clothing, oversized sweaters, and lots of perfume. My favorite school accessories are my witch hat, my charm bracelet, and my secret scar.
