When Gael Stephan was six years old, she had a small turtle in her bedroom. Her mother, Maya, a muggle woman, almost lost her head when she walked in one day and saw her daughter playing with a little turtle that had a neon blue shell! It was then that her father, a primarily Spanish-speaking man from Spain named Manuel who had moved for work and stayed for Maya, chose that moment to tell his wife that magic was real.

After that incident, Gael was pulled out of her Muggle academy and was homeschooled by her mother, where she grew up playing guitar and piano while she recited mathematics. By the time she turned eleven and Gaels' letter came from Hogwarts, she was a well-rounded young girl and ready to face on the world!

Clocking in at a grand four feet and four inches (132 cm), Gael is a bit short for her age and rather skinny too, although she loves to run around and play. Her hair is a mass of tangling red curls that just won't be tamed, and her pale face is capped with a large, dorky pair of black-rimmed glasses. As fair as her mother, Gael can get easily sunburned outside on sunny days (although she simply loves the rain).

Although energetic and friendly enough when approached, Gael is a rather large introvert and can often be found enjoying a muggle novel or studying in the library, commons, and even the stairs when it's quiet enough. Her favorite and top classes are potions and herbology, and she is a rather average student in her other classes.
