Akiko Dilaurentis, who prefers to be called Kiko, was born on the 27th of December in 2008. She is originally from the capital city of Japan, also known as Tokyo, to a Korean mother and Japanese-American father before moving to London at the age of 8 due to her father’s work commitments.

She was raised in a fairly wealthy family and was aware of her magical abilities since she was young. Her parents had taught her to be proud of her identity but to accept all those who are different. She’s the youngest among three children and has an older sister (Leila) and older brother (Kai). The three of them attended a muggle school until they received letters telling them that they had been accepted into the Hogwards School of Witchcraft and Wizard.

As a person, she’s incredibly bubbly and curious which explains her tendency to adventure and cause trouble in order to satisfy her questions. She’s a very easy going and friendly person, always opening her arms up to welcome new friends and welcome back the old ones. She’s very rarely found with a frown upon her face and is quite often the sunshine and mood maker of a group.

That’s not to say that she’s extremely perfect though as Kiko also has some negative traits. Because her parents have always taught her to stay true to her beliefs, she’s incredibly stubborn and can also be quite argumentative if there’s something that she doesn’t agree with. At times it seems like she lacks a filter for she has a habit of saying the first thing that comes to mind which results in negative things being said accidentally.

All in all, she’s a cool person to be around and is a great shoulder to lean on so long as you allow her to be near and don’t mind slight clinginess.
