Ben is the youngest of the three children of the O’Connor family. Two siblings precede him, a girl and a boy. They both had plenty of talents, but neither had magic. Having only one magic parent, Ben was amazed when he learned he had the gift.
His mother was a talented witch, and was pleased that her third and final child also shared this. As a result, both she and Ben had a very close relationship, not to mention being the baby of the family.
He didn’t have the best relationship with his siblings, having jealousy on both ends. His father was supportive of his children, though he understood Ben less. Not saying they had a bad relationship, they just didn’t understand each other like he and his mother did.
Ben has always been a lover of creatures big and small and has always been fascinated by the night sky. He loves reading and being outside. Cooking is another interest of his, one he shares with his mother.

Most of his clothes are hand me downs or large sweaters. His hands, knees, feet and shoes are usually dirty from looking around for creatures. He’d much rather be outside than inside at any given time, and if he is stuck indoors, he’d much prefer to be stuck by a window.
