Lydia is a confident girl with deep, hazel eyes, expressing empathy and a certain amount of recklessness. She has soft, acorn colored skin and delicate features, as many other youths her age do. She has long, wavy chocolate-colored hair that she always has loose, letting it fly in the wind as she explores. She takes a certain amount of pride in her appearance, but she is constantly getting mud and dirt on her jeans, as she enjoys spending time outdoors and adventuring.
Family wise, Lydia has a seven-year-old brother named Oliver, who is always messing with her and annoying her, as every little brother does. Though he agitates her out of her mind, she loves him greatly and is often the shoulder he leans on when he has a bad day. She also has a loving mother who works as a single mom, providing for her children solely off of her wages working as a waitress at a restaurant. Lydia never knew her father. Her mother always told her that he was a powerful wizard and that he abandoned them. Lydia didn't believe this. She believed he had a good reason to have left them.
Her family lives in a small apartment in London, reconvening every night to chat and laugh together at the dining table.
Lydia first discovered that she had magic when she was six years old, as she blew out her birthday candles without actually blowing. Of course, her mother was skeptical at first, but the next day, the ornate pair of slippers Lydia had always wanted but couldn't afford appeared on her mattress. After that, Lydia always had her nose in a magical spell book, reading everything she could find on charms, potions, and the like.
She is a very spontaneous and charismatic girl, and she is always understanding and thoughtful when someone needs a shoulder to lean on. She is always looking for an adventure. In certain times, when she is feeling gloomy or she is in danger, she will be very bitter and occasionally rude.
Lydia is also a very sarcastic girl, so be prepared!
