Atticus Isaac Mowery is no ordinary boy. Atticus has jet-black hair, chocolatey brown eyes, and a slim yet fit body. He looks almost like a practically identical copy of his father. The difference lies in their smiles. Atticus has his mother’s sweet smile. He can appear shy to those that don’t know him as he is apprehensive to strangers. Once he gets to know the individual, he doesn’t hold back his emotions. There is an inner-strength inside him that is slowly yet surely growing. They’re two different sides to Atticus. On one side, he is the caring and devoted son surely to make the Mowery Wizarding family name proud. On the other, he is a curious boy with a thirst for adventure and knowledge of the world beyond his family home in Queensbury. What secrets lurk at the mysterious Hogwarts? His father Edmund Noah Mowrey attended several decades ago, a loyal and forthright Hufflepuff. Edmund promptly began his work in the Department of International Magical Cooperation. During a business trip in America, he met and fell in love with the ever-so charming Daphne Joy St-Cloud. They eloped in London and started their family together in Queensbury. Promptly six months after their marriage, Atticus was born. As a half-blood, Edmund and Daphne always wondered whether to include Atticus into the wizarding world. Edmund’s family certainly aspired for Atticus to join the ranks ever since they discovered his magical abilities. One family dinner, Atticus was staring off into space as the grownups talked about wizarding politics and such. Little did he know, but he was making the bread on his plate start to dance around to the song playing on the radio. Everyone’s gasping and laughter brought Atticus back to reality and in total shock of what he was doing. Daphne always had her reservations, but Edmund reassured his wife that Atticus would be ok. Once his letter came into the mail, Atticus’s bright smile answered all of their questions. Off to Hogwarts, he goes!
