It is the unknown we fear when we look upon death and darkness. Nothing more.

Hey there, I'm Riley, Riley Pond. Not what you were expecting, right? Before you say anything, yes I am well aware that my name isn't the typical 'feminine' name one might expect but my parents have always been a little too progressive and so assigning genders to names has never really been their thing. Frankly, I drew the long straw; I have two younger brothers called Ashley and Kelsey. Anyhow, here are a few things you may or may not wish to know about me:

> I am a self-proclaimed know-it-all
> Feminist
> Music and book addict
> Capricorn
> I believe in love at first sight
> Avid tea drinker (this is of the utmost importance)

The ones that love us, never really leave us.
I like to believe this, anyway. I lost my mother last year, when I was ten years old, just after the birth of my youngest brother, Kelsey. I’ve never been much of a believer of an afterlife as such, I’m not exactly the religious type, but I like to think that when people pass, they do stay with us, living on in our memories. Memories like the one of my ninth birthday when my parents took me to Disneyland and told Ashley and me that we were going to have another sibling. I cherish my memories and I hope to be able to share them with Kelsey when he’s older and starts asking about mum. I want him to know her how I did.

It's our choices that show what we truly are far more than our abilities.
Being the smartest witch in class doesn't matter if you aren't willing to help someone who is struggling. Being the greatest fighter during Defence Against the Dark Arts is irrelevant if when the time comes you run for the hills instead of standing and protecting those who can't protect themselves. It's not what you can do, but how you do it.

Physical appearance:
> Cherry red hair
> Bright grey eyes
> Relatively slim
