Young Alberic was born in a small Appalachian Mountain town in eastern Tennessee, to Brandon and Juliana Bragge. He’s a energetic boy, with a lightly freckled face and reddish, brown hair. Alberic is outgoing and is always in search of an adventure, preferring to spend his time outdoors hunting for frogs or building forts in the woods on his parents property. His naturally friendly nature makes him well liked among his classmates.

Alberic’s upbringing wasn’t much different from the others in his small mountain community, however, his family did have one small secret. The Bragge’s were descendants of witches and wizards! Long ago Alberic’s great grandfather, for whom he was named after, fled England to the United States after marrying a muggle and having a squib son. The times were troublesome and anti muggle tendencies were on the rise. Near the end of his life, having produced no magical children, he left all of his magical belongings in a trunk and left instructions in his will for it to be presented to the next magical child born into the family. It was his last hope that this offspring would return to the UK and study at Hogwarts as he had done. This leads us to young Alberic.

From a young age, weird events had often surrounded Alberic. Most parents would have been quite frightened by the floating toys and disappearing veggies from the dinner plate, but Alberic’s parents knew better. The magic that once flowed through the family’s blood had returned. Nearing his eleventh birthday, it was time for them to sit down with Alberic and tell him about his true identity.
