APPEARANCE
everything about eloise is small, concerning her appearance. she has inherited her mother's petite build and narrow frame. lou stands at just a little over 4'10, with very dainty legs and arms, but don't let appearances fool you. lou has a heart shaped face with big brown doe eyes and feminine features, and her lips are naturally stained pink, leading many people to assume that she's put on lipstick.
in reality, lou absolutely hates wearing make up, or dresses even. she will wear one if she has no choice at all, but the make up is something she probably will pass on forever. lou has golden coloured hair that is very wavy and usually a mess. the only time it's tied back, however, is when she's on the quidditch pitch, or doing a bit of gardening and tending to magical creatures. lou prefers to dress in casual clothes outside of her school robes, typically in loose t shirts and a pair of shorts no matter how cold it is outside. lou is a summery person and will continue to protest winter for as long as she can.
PERSONALITY
eloise is easily one of the nicest people someone could come across. true to her house, eloise is patient and kind, but that doesn't mean she doesn't have her... hot headed moments. more often than not, eloise is seen with a smile on her face, and she is fiercely loyal, perhaps to a fault, but that just means that, should anything or anyone threaten her friends or loved ones, eloise's bright and bubbly nature can turn off like a switch, replaced by the image of what can best be described as a mass of golden anger. It's quite a sight really, considering she's just barely tall enough to punch someone in the face.
lou tends to spread happiness wherever she goes -- or she tries to, at least. she's got an infectious smile and likes to crack jokes to cheer people up, even if many of them are super bad and cheesy. and if it wasn't already obvious, eloise also talks. a lot. true, she can annoy some people with this trait of hers, but eloise never really intends any harm nor does she ever harbour ill feelings toward others unless they really give her a reason to. she's a very forgiving person, and can't stay mad for too long, even if those short bursts of anger are usually followed by some kind of physical violence from her end.
eloise is also very competitive. not when it comes to her academics, since she's not the most intellectual person around. charms is one of her best subjects, along with care for magical creatures, but when it comes to quidditch or duelling, a more ruthless side of her is seen because she's a bit of a sore loser. out on the quidditch pitch, one might constantly hear a string of obscenities leaving her lips, but the moment she touches down after a match, and after five minutes of whatever she's feeling depending on whether her team won or not, eloise is all smiles again and there isn't much that can dampen her spirits.
HISTORY
eloise's parents were young when they got pregnant with her. straight out of school and on a trip together in france which was where she was conceived. they hadn't been married yet but the moment the news of the pregnancy came about, eloise's parents had a quickie wedding, having eloped to live in a small town close to london since neither sides of their families were too happy with the fact that they were having a baby so young. while it was hard to support themselves financially in the beginning, the middleton family managed, and there was always love going around. eventually, they were able to live slightly more stable lives, and eloise started to attend nursery and then kindergarten, and then primary school, which was when things started to change.
as a child, she had always been rather good at reading people. she knew her father was lying when he told her about santa clause and she knew when one of the boys in her class lied about having stolen one of her crayons. her teachers found it peculiar, but her parents didn't think much of it till eloise turned eleven and got her hogwarts letter. after that things began to make a bit more sense -- to her parents at least. she was a witch, born to muggle parents who, while surprised and finding it hard to digest, were ultimately as excited as her about this whole new world. they were both people with very open minded views about things.
and so, soon, eloise boarded the hogwarts express to start a new chapter in her life.
