Finnegan is a decent sized lad for his age (11 years old), sizing up at 148cms tall and weighing in 37 kg. The young lad grew into a large amount of freckles on his face, mixed in with his red hair and baby blue eyes he gives a typical Irish appearance for a boy of his age.

The Irish boy has a temper to him, that much was apparent to many that dealt with the lad. Spending large amounts of time in the streets, the boy was quick to start fights with the other children over petty disputes, becoming a bully with the local children. When one got past the young boys temper however, it was quick to see a thoughtful if brazen side to him. There was many things that people would call the young troublemaker, but disloyal wasn’t one of them. While friends were rare with the young boy, with the few that he had, the red-haired lad was loyal to a fault.

Born in Waterford, Ireland. Finnegan was raised in a simple religious family, his father was a dump-truck driver and his mother worked as a nurse in one of the hospitals. There were many times that the young boy would find alone time while his family worked. In these times the young lad would journey through the streets of Waterford, the short-tempered lad would find the occasional chance to take part in petty crime, shoplifting and the occasional toilet paper assault on Halloween. While the boy would often run afoul of the local authorities, the lads simple crimes for his age didn’t warrant much beside the stern lectures and shouting from the stubborn boys family.

The lads distant relation to a wizard from down his mother’s line resurfaced in Finnegan however, a fact hardly known even by the lad himself, never knowing a single spell to realise it. At the age of 11 however, much like the rest of the children, Finnegan received his invitation to Hogwarts, much to the red-haired lad’s confusion.
