Arietty is not your average girl, though she is attractive with auburn hair and hazel eyes, she never really liked the idea of wearing dresses and skirts, she prefers regular pants and overalls ( better to climb with)and she usually wears her hair in a braid and she mostly hangs out with boys though she does have a couple of girl friends. When people first look at her they usually notice her height(four foot five) and are surprised to hear her age.Arietty grew up pretty much like any muggle. She didn't know much about the Wizard World with both her parents being muggles, but she did know that she wanted to be apart of it. If she's wasn't on the roof of their cabin or sitting in her tree she was in her room reading her great, great, grandmother's old textbooks
Since everybody else in her family ( Her five older brothers, Fred(17),Daniel(19),Mathew(15),James(13),Stephen(12). And her two sisters, Lillian(16) and Ginny(7).) were all non-magical beings,everyone,including herself, thought Arietty would be to. But on September 3, 2015 some kids at her school dared her to climb the 15 foot tall pine tree that sat on the far side of the playground. Being, well Arietty she excepted the challenge. She was half way up the tree when the branch she was holding on to snapped, but instead of hitting the ground she stopped 6 inches from the ground. From that day on, she always wanted to be in Gryffindor.
