Personality
-----Matilda is a fun loving and spontaneous young woman, with a bright spirit and kind heart. She always has a smile on her face and a spring in her step, no matter what life may throw at her. She speaks her mind and isn’t afraid to so so, which can get her in a little bit of trouble from time to time. She is very bright for her age and has a habit of correcting people, this trait only worsening with the more that she learns. But, Tilly is known to be a shoulder to cry on and someone to talk to when you need advice, even at her fragile age. She has a comforting nature and is very gentle in her actions towards others. She’s a girl to rely on and loyal and trust-worthy friend, making her someone you want around.

Appearance
-----Tilly has chocolate brown hair and ocean blue eyes that compliment her fair complexion well. She has a rather broad nose that is upturned slightly at the end and slightly pouted lips, with her lower lip being considerably larger than her upper. She is rather thin, with little curvature to her body at all - a sign of her developmental immaturity and young age. Tilly is rather small, standing at around 4'10 but has the ability to grow a couple of inches at the onset of puberty. She is generally small and petite, having a small amount of muscle or any weight at all, but there is always room to grow.

Pre-Hogwarts History
-----Matilda was born on a warm summers eve to Andrew and Melissa Wainwright, their only daughter in a family dominated by boys. She was her mothers pride and joy and Melissa was extra careful to raise her with the proper grace and charm of a young lady. Growing up in Brighton, Tilly had the ideal childhood with the beach and the pier only a couple of moments from their house and all of her brothers to protect and care for her.

Going through school, it was clear that Tilly was one of the brightest in the bunch, coming home with amazing reports and outstanding grades whenever she has the oppportunity. This created a healthy competition between the siblings, which Tilly still has to this day. But it was clear that Tilly didn't quite fit in with the other children, having difficulty making friends and fitting in with the social groups.

Shortly after her eleventh birthday, Tilly received her letter of acceptance to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and her parents couldn't be happier. And this is where her story begins.
