Shirley Fae was a born to Agnes (Mother) and Kieran (Father) who were both wizards themselves. Her parents, despite their magical talents, had elected to move into the countryside where they opted for the lifestyle of farmers. Besides Shirley Fae, they also have an older daughter named Meghan whom it seemed was a muggle. There was a slight animosity between the older sibling to the younger one, which over time began to cultivate into outright jealousy.

The two girls, growing up on a farm, where homeschooled by both parents. Their Mother taught them mathematics and science, whilst their Father taught them history and language arts. As the two girls began to age, Shirley Fae began to show signs of her magical talent, a talent encouraged by her parents. However, Meghan was not so encouraging, and in a fit of anger ran away from home.

For the next three months, her parents where in a state of distress, constantly worrying about their eldest girl. During this time, Shirley Fae was being neglected and with no friends really, began to fall into a state of depression. But things had changed, for the better, when her parents decided that on her eleventh birthday she would attend Hogwarts.

With their youngest quickly grasping her lessons, possibly flashing signs of highly intelligence, and her ability to work hard, even to the pointe with failure was not an option; they believed attending the institute would be beneficial to Shirley Fae. So on the day of her eleventh birthday, she bid her parents farewell and moved to embrace a new life.



Shirley Fae has long, wavy hair that is shoulder length; and at times is worn either in a ponytail or pigtails. She has mismatched colour eyes, her left sporting green and the right sporting blue. Her skin is pale, whilst on her face there are small signs of freckles on her cheeks; slightly under her eyes. She is tall for her age, lending to a wiry, thin frame.



Shirley Fae is kinda of a loner for now. Never really exposed to social interactions outside her family, she will seem to others solitude or possibly eccentric. She isn't rude by nature, but her quick harsh words and skill to ask annoying questions can push others away. However, if someone takes the time and patience to understand her, they could be best mates.

She is a hard worker, sometimes overachieving in her pursuits. She is a book nerd, a person who would frequently haunt a library; and because of her nature to learn, she is her own worst critic when she fails.
