Park Soo-hyun has a very kind heart and an open mind. Though he always had a knack of finding adventure and exploring new places or new things. His temper is very short due to his very annoying little brother who always cried and whined about various things, throwing tantrums if he doesn't get what he wants. He's selfless and stands for what he thinks is right and doesn't waver to any persuasion.

He has quite messy brown hair and brown eyes. He has fair skin and stands at a height of an average child the same age as him. Appearances are the least of his concerns, always putting on whatever he can reach and sometimes mismatch the clothes.

Park Byung-hoon, Soo-hyun's father, is a wizard who came from Korea in a run from his arrange marriage. Falling in love with a Pure-blood witch named Elaine Wilson, they both planned to marry. Byung-hoon's family, after much persuasion and discussion, agreed to let him marry Elaine.

When Soo-hyun turned 11, he and his family went to an aquarium. His little brother was whining as always, saying how he wanted a plushie while Byung-hoon and Elaine were busy talking on the phone. Soo-hyun, with his very short temper that shortens every time his little brother speaks, grew very impatient and the next thing that happened was his little brother was knocked back.
