Blaire King
Status:
Half-blood
Nationality:
Welsh
Residence:
St. Davids, Wales
Function:
First year, Slytherin
Wand:
28,5 cm cherry wood and phoenix feather
Personality
Hopefully and excitable, Blaire is genuinely interested in starting her Hogwarts path. She's curious about just about everything, however she's also quite stubborn, shy and lazy. While she genuinely enjoys classes, they require her to actually go. She wants to be friends with others and yet is too quiet and awkward to speak to them.

Appearance
Standing at 4'6" and weighing around 78 pounds, Blaire has shoulder blade length chestnut brown hair. A set of dark brown eyes peer up from an oval face. Across her cheek bones is a light smattering of freckles.

Early Life
Blaire was born and raised in St. Davids, a fairly small city on the River Alun, named after the patron Saint of Wales. She was raised in a half blood family, her mother, Dorothea, a Muggle that her father Emrys met on a trip to Britain. She was raised an only child, taught by her father about her magical origins while her mother taught her the delicacies of being a female and the mental skills that would surely come in handy in later life that Hogwarts surely wouldn't teach.

There weren't many other children in St. Davids, as the town itself is the least populated town in Wales, but those that did run around, she was often too shy to go up and speak to. One day she would be going to Hogwarts, she'd tell herself. It was best not to have friends she would have to abandon.

When she was 8 years old, her first signs of magic would begin to appear. It was the small things. A flickering candle light when she thought about wanting darkness. A twitching of a broom when she imagined a sport her father called Quidditch. A floating pastry when her stomach growled and she pondered sneaking one of mother's freshly baked treats.

Her parents were excited, although her father warned her to be careful with her budding magic. Could never be too careful.

And then she got her letter.
