Braeden Tyler is an outgoing, socialable, and easily excitable Muggle-born boy from the suburbs of Garston, England. His compassionate father is the aspiring owner of a local antique shop, and his mother unfortunately passed away at childbirth. The boy has a love for anything to do with criminal justice, and before finding out that he was to go to Hogwarts, it was his undisputed dream to eventually become a detective. Most days, he is either at the town courthouse, prying around to see what he can get his nose into, or he is helping his dad receive and inspect exotic items from individuals looking to sell to the shop.

The boy has deep ginger hair, that hints more to being a flushed red (rather than orange like the Weasley family). Braeden is a bit on the shorter side, but more defined and broad-shouldered for his age. His eyes are a chocolate brown, and his complexion is very pale. One noticeable characteristic that he has been made constantly aware of, is his inability to sit or stand still. His feet are always moving, his fingers are always stretching, and his eyes are never seemingly able to hone in on one thing for a long period of time. Braeden hates to be trapped in one confined place, and he loves to be constantly on the go.

One night, after his father had fallen asleep from exhaustion, Braeden had decided to polish the shop’s wood surfaces. When a large vintage clock fell off of the counter, and landed down on his foot in a very painful angle, the boy felt a surge of anger. Seconds later, the clock was shrouded in fire, having caught aflame spontaneously. Weeks later, he had gotten the letter from Hogwarts. Frank Tyler had already archived suspicions about his son’s strange difference since the boy had been an infant, so hearing that there was an entire community of magic was not at all a surprise. He wanted his son to be around people who could better educate him, so Braeden’s attendance at Hogwarts was encouraging.
