Born in the tiniest town to a family who raised sheep, Ardice loved to run in the fields and play with her brothers. She constantly searched the hillsides for interesting plants and spent hours tending to the sheep, whilst reading a fair bit on the side. Her magic first manifested when she and her family went on a visit to the cliffs of Moher, when her youngest brother got to close to the edge, and was about to fall, he was miraculously pulled back. No one really questioned it, most of all her. The second time was more obvious. She and her Mother were shopping, and found a lovely dress that she simple has to have for church. However, the dress wasn't the exact color she wanted, but she found that when she walked out of the changing room the hue had shifted a bit so it was just perfect. Ardice is studious but has trouble in staying still and doing busy-work. She loves reading and isn't extremely social having been home-schooled. Her brothers (4, all younger than her) look up to her and she has thus taken up a motherly sort of role, especially when her mother is sick or away doing business. Though she respects her father she finds him quite annoying with all his rules, and in general dislikes rules and limitations in general, though only when she feels that hey make little sense.
