Ada was born on the 18th of May, eleven years ago, only after her grandparents had finally managed to convince her parents (Anne-Medeea and Alexis McNair) to conceive a child to inherit the family's wealth. Therefore, she was not entirely wanted by her parents, who were mainly focused on their careers (they were really dedicated aurors, spending most of their time away from home), but even so, we can't say she wasn't loved. She had a really cosy childhood with her grandparents by her side pampering her as much as possible so they could compensate for the constant absence of her parents. 

Growing up, she didn't have many friends. She was also considered as being "the weird one", who always spends time with her books and notes. She started reading  children's books when she was 2 and a half years old and by the time she was 7, she had already finished all the bibliography for the 1st year of Hogwarts. Her grandparents were very proud of her, especially since they were some very passionate and respectable healers and considered that intelligence is the best virtue a wizard can have. 

The only time she would see her parents was during the weekends (sometimes, when they weren't on a mission), so she was always looking forward to them. Every friday, at 16:00, she was up in her tower room looking outside the window and waiting for the two little figures she would recognize as her parents, to slowly approach her grandparents' mansion.

When it comes to her personality, she always tried really hard to socialize with other people and act as a normal kid, but somehow she always ended up in her grandfather's library and thinking about the others that they're way too immature for her. She really loves spending time with her cat, Dorotha, because she thinks she's the only one who never judges her and who listens to all her boring stories about the new scientific discoveries in the magical world. If the subject is of interest to her, she gets very talkative and people sometimes tell her she talks too much and way too loud. She's very expressive...or maybe that's just a nervous way to hide her shyness from people. In terms of flaws, she's very stubborn when she knows she's right (and that means - all the time) and she can't really accept other people's opinions. She's aware of the fact she's intellectually superior to most people and even though she tries to hide that cockyness, she's not always very good at it.

She's pretty tall for her age, but if she inherited her mother's genes, she is going to remain the same height for her whole life. Her hair colour is either red or orange, depending on the season and her eyes are also a mystery for everyone. Some days they are green, then they turn blue and sometimes they're even gray.
