Aberdeen was raised a single child by a witch mother and muggle father. Her father never really knew that his wife had magical powers, and so when her parents found out Aberdeen was a witch, her father instantly freaked out. After a long talk with her mother, she was able to calm him down enough to explain that she was a witch, and so was her daughter. They kept her in a muggle school, giving her the most "normal" childhood they could, never really acknowledging the use of magic.
When Aberdeen was nine, her father died in a car cash, driving home from work. Her mother became depressed, yet she stayed strong, raising her daughter by herself, never remarrying or falling in love again. Aberdeen herself became a lot more quiet and reserved, never really wanting to walk to others. After the death of her father, however, her mother started using magic a lot more in the home to help her out.
After Aberdeen's eleventh birthday, and her mother received a letter from Hogwarts, accepting Aberdeen into the school, she eagerly helped her get her wand and other tools, buying them with the little amount of money she had. Her mother was excited for her to start learning about magic herself, and begin her own adventure at Hogwarts.
Aberdeen is a quiet, shy girl, who is smart and eager to learn about anything. She loves helping others out where she can, however she doesn't like to ask for help herself.
Aberdeen has long red hair, and emerald green eyes. Her skin is pale and she has freckles on the inner cheeks and bridge of her nose. She's of average height and weight for her age.
